HDI College was found in year 2000 as a primary school to meet the growing need for quality English medium primary education within Ja ela and Katunayake. Over the following twenty one years, the school has developed a reputation for academic excellence and established itself as an International school to provide Cambridge and Local curriculum.
The school has three sections, Nursery, Primary and Secondary, providing a structured, progressive education from the age of 2 ½ above.
We have being providing education through excellent and innovative teaching and learning in a religious and cultural background.

Our Aim
Our aim is to provide a safe and supportive learning environment with welcoming atmosphere which creates a sense of belonging amongst the families.
